Compliance Ecosse

Quick links:

The Scottish EMC Club was one of the original fourteen regional EMC clubs set up by the DTI to support companies whose products are required to comply with the EMC and other CE marking Directives. The Club became inactive in the late 1990s and Compliance Ecosse was formed by York EMC Services in the Year 2000.

Compliance Ecosse is run by York EMC Services and meets approximately five times a year at venues around the region. At the beginning of each year, the views of the members are sought and a programme of topics to be discussed is drawn up for the coming year, in line with its aims and objectives.

The 2006 programme incorporates sessions on a wide range of not only EMC issues but also those relating to other European Directives. Older programmes are also available for potential members to see the typical activities of the club:

Members get exclusive access (user-name and password required) to downloads of the presentations given at the club meetings. (Members’ usernames/passwords were sent out in May to registered contacts; contact us if you’ve misplaced yours.)
