York EMC Services Ltd has been recognised as an “Investors in People” organisation after achieving the standard in December 2003. York EMC Services Ltd embraces a commitment to training and development and looks forward to the bottom-line benefits that improved people performance delivers.

York EMC Services Ltd, as part of the University of York, has always offered educational assistance to its staff and so working towards having this dedication formally recognised by Investors in People was an obvious pursuit. In doing so, commercial benefits such as enhanced productivity, improved service quality, and thus a higher level of customer satisfaction are realised.

“We are fully committed to developing workforce skills in order to achieve our wider business aims and objectives in the EMC sector. We have used the investors in People planning process to address our needs and have now implemented a training and development programme.
